Vintage Burleigh Ironstone Blue & White Relief Pitcher – Staffordshire England
A striking vintage English ironstone pitcher by Burleigh (Burgess & Leigh), Staffordshire.
This substantial jug features beautifully moulded three-dimensional relief decoration, with an elaborate floral/foliate design across the body, a wonderfully sculptural handle and a dramatic cobalt blue and white colourway. The glossy glaze really highlights the depth and texture of the raised decoration.
The underside is marked:

A fabulous statement piece for a blue and white collection, traditional kitchen, country house interior or simply displayed as decorative pottery.
Measurements:
• Height: 7" / 17.8 cm
• Width: 7" / 17.8 cm
• Depth: 4" / 10.2 cm
Condition:
Good vintage condition overall. There are some minor marks/age-related signs consistent with a previously owned vintage piece. Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
