This is a vintage hand-painted Denby Stoneware Glyn Colledge studio pottery tankard.
It features a distinctive design with trailing leaves and horizontal stripes in greens, browns, and blues.
The tankard was designed by Glyn Colledge, who ran the hand-decorated stoneware department at Denby from 1950.
Items from this range, often called "Glynware" or "Colledgeware", are highly collectible.
The piece dates back to the 1960s and bears Glyn Colledge's signature on the base.
It is in excellent condition and measures 6" tall x 6.25" wide x 4.75" diameter base x 3.5" rim diameter.
