Add a touch of historic French charm to your walls or collection with this rare, beautiful pair of antique faience story plates (assiettes parlantes) from the iconic Sarreguemines pottery factory in France.
Dating back to the late 19th century (circa 1875-1900), these plates are part of the highly collectible "Les Enfants Richard" series, masterfully illustrated by Antoine-Albert Richard (known as Froment-Richard).

The whimsical scenes depict children playfully dressed up and performing old-world working-class trades.

Manufacturer: Sarreguemines (Utzschneider & Cie), France
Era: Late Victorian / Pre-1900 (Authenticated by the cursive Sarreguemines backstamp)
Diameter: 22 cm (approx. 8.6 inches)
Condition: Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Both plates display fine, authentic age-crazing throughout the clear glaze surface, which adds beautiful antique character without compromising structural integrity.

Display: Each plate features two factory-made pierced holes on the base rim, completely ready for wall-hanging wires or cords.
A gorgeous pair for collectors of French transferware, nursery decor, or French country style farmhouse design.
