A lovely pair of H J Wood Ltd Burslem hand painted art deco style jugs.
Design Style: Hand-painted Art Deco featuring stylized fruit and leaves with a vibrant, textured band around the rim.
Material: Majolica-style earthenware.
Period: Commonly dated to the 1930s-1940s.
Condition: Both jugs have overall crazing and some paint wear. One of the jugs has a small chip to the base and bottom of handle, please see photos, still a beautiful pair for their age and perfectly usually for display.
The price reflects their condition.
They measure appropriately 6" tall x 6.5" wide x 5" deep.
