An antique pair of Swedish painted wooden candlesticks.
They are hand made and are a near pair with one bring 1cm taller than the other.
They are cream in colour with gold accents. They have a gorgeous worn patina. The shorter one has a chip missing from one of the legs otherwise they are in great condition for their age.
They measure 44cm and 45cm tall x 11cm wide x 11cm deep.
They weigh 1076g and 1020g.
The turned rounded moulded candle platforms are raised on baluster stems carved with acanthus leaf foliage. They are set upon squared bases with bulbous bracket feet.
